Population export

Purpose

The purpose of the population export is to provide population estimates in an excel format, aggregated on admin/health boundary level or even on settlement level. At the same time, if available, population rasters are available for download here as well.

Step-by-step guide

Getting a population export

To obtain a population export, perform the following steps:

  1. Navigate to ‘Population’

  2. If applicable, choose which boundary type you want to export population for

  3. Choose the data source of the population and adjust any demographic information, if needed

  4. Choose the first level admin / health boundaries you want to export population for

  5. Choose the second level admin / health boundaries you want to export population for

  6. Choose if you want to export population estimates per settlement or on higher levels

  7. Choose if you want to export a summary or the detailed version (the detailed option adds boundary codes, settlement GUIDs as well as for a settlement level export latitudes and longitudes)

  8. Enter your email, if not correct

  9. Press the request export button

  10. Once you receive the email, click the link sent in the email to download your export
